Bug Reporting

Jcorporate is currently accepting bug reports and suggestions via support@Jcorporate.com.

There is also a page publishing the list of Known Problems under the resources available with each project.

HelpDesk Servlet Component

We are also currently working on a Helpdesk component to better serve you!

Soon contributors and Premium Support members will be able fill out a problem report form and submit it.  You'll also be able to track it, and check out other issues.

Additionally, our HelpDesk application is being designed so that it will be applicable to corporate help desk use.  It will be available as one of our community source products.

If you're not sure that your problem is specifically related to a bug in Jcorporate, we strongly recommend that you check the related products support and archives and you will help keep developer time free for improving Jcorporate products

First Please

Before submitting a problem report, please check the following places to see if your problem has already been dealt with or discussed.

  1. Checked that you have the most current version.
  2. Checked the Known Problems database under the associated project.
  3. Checked the FAQ under the associated project.
  4. Compiled with only the distributed set of components only and not with other patches (so that we can make sure it's a Jcorporate problem).
  5. Look at the error log. Please include any related messages in your report, or state that there are none.

If you have completed these, then please select the button below to access HelpDesk, fill out the form, and we will respond to it as soon as we can.

HelpDesk Request Form

When you submit your bug report, it will be entered into our database for tracking purposes. It will be associated with the account name under which you accessed this web. After an initial assessment by our support department, the resolution of the problem will be assigned to an appropriate engineer.

The notification system will advise you when there is an update to the problem request.

Periodically we will post notices regarding bugs and suggestions reported by our customers in the Known Problems, and tips or workarounds on the FAQ page.

Please be as specific as possible when describing the problem or request.

The information you submit on this form will be available to anyone on the Internet, so please do not send information that you wish to remain private.
