Expresso has the largest marketshare in the architectural framework market. Hence it is no wonder that Jcorporate products are deployed throughout a broad cross-section of industries, including Manufacturing, Retail, Financial, Banking, Insurance, High Tech, Education, Telecommunications, Entertainment, Integrators, Consulting Organizations, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Aerospace and Government agencies.
Some of the world's largest organizations rely on Jcorporate technology to drive their success, including Siemens, Motorola, Lucent, CSC, Dupont, Kmart, Sony, Remax, Deutsche Bank, Hughes, Andersen Consulting, Citibank, Ford, Internet Security Systems, and UCI. Here are what our customers have to say about Jcorporate products:
| In summary, Expresso gives us everything we need, and is constantly evolving and embracing new technologies as they emerge. The main purpose of a framework should be to allow developers to concentrate on meeting business requirements. Expresso fulfills this purpose, and once over the initial learning curve, allows you to do it more quickly. See our Case Study. | ||

| I am a fan of the Expresso
Framework from JCorporate, which (primarily) allows developers
to build Java Server Pages over relational databases. The Java Server
Page element is made easier and more consistent by the provision
of tags linking to a back-end controller. The database end is vendor-independent;
DB2 can be swapped for Oracle with some fairly trivial configuration.
The Java database access code remains the same.
I spoke about the Expresso framework at the OT2003 conference at the beginning of April 2003. I solicited some feedback about qualities of frameworks which I have put on the OT2003 website. You can download the presentation foils here. They are in a zipped up Powerpoint file; email me if you would like the talk in a less proprietary format. I have also written an introductory tutorial article about Expresso for the iSeries News magazine. Unfortunately, you require a subscription to the iSeries News magazine to view the content, but for those lucky enough to have such a thing the link is here. But don't worry if you don't; there are plenty of other good introductory materials on the JCorporate web site. |

| I can say that Expresso is bulletproof enough to use it in an enterprise environment. At the moment I'm working on a scientific project where I've to read datasets of 12,000 lines and 45 columns from a database and send them via SOAP to the R statistical calculation system, and what we've been doing up to now is rock-solid. We also use it as a platform for developing clinical data management software where security and reliability are serious concerns, and we don't regret our choice. | ||

| After evaluating approximately 10
industry leading content management systems, we found eContent to offer
the flexibility and features that we were looking for within our budget. eContent
provided us with the necessary content versioning, locking and workflow
control, and an open, nonproprietary Java based environment. Architecturally,
eContent was completely in line with our Enterprise Technical Strategy. Its
flexibility allowed us to easily integrate it with our Administrative
Portal. Additionally, Expresso, the base of eContent, provided
us with a well designed MVC based framework for our applications. Expresso
lands itself nicely for development of tool suites. Along with
eContent, we have purchased eHelpDesk and eFAQ and are integrating
them with our administrative portal. Moreover, it is a pleasure to work with the Jcorporate team! We find their technical support timely and competent. The ability to participate in shaping Jcorporate products to fit out needs was one of the the basic requirements in our vendor selection criteria. |

| "We
have developed an Insurance Portal using Struts & Expresso.
Struts forms the core of the MVC. Expresso was used for database
interaction. Even though the app is not database centric, its connection
pool, dbobjects, schema, and the component library came to be of
tremendous help. Further, Expresso's ease of use and deployment,
object oriented nature, and MVC based architecture made it an excellent
framework to work on. Apart from reducing the development time considerably,
Expresso is convenient to work on and maintain. As far as integrity
is concerned, the getter - setters from the form beans seamlessly
integrate with the fields of the DBObjects in the action bean. We've
also used the search and reporting functionality of Expresso to a
certain extent. In Phase-II of this project, we intend to use some
additional features like MQ and transaction support. We thank the
team behind this framework and expect many more from them in the
years to come. |

"After comparing different
content management poducts to implement in a company´s site to create
a B2B marketplace for matching shipping companies and companies needing
material shipped, we decided to use Jcporporate products, particularly
eContent and eForum components. We discovered the great advantages
they offer, amongst:
Apart from the content management by eContent provided to our clients, we use an internal discussion forum provided by eForum that keeps a fluent communication within the company." |

| "Jcorporate's
Expresso is both a reliable and high quality servlet/JSP development
framework. Their bottom-up approach to their security infrastructure
is truly one-of-a-kind, and the responsiveness to issues within
the framework is fantastic! What has impressed me most about Jcorporate, however, is their perfect blending of the closed and open source paradigms. They have provided an excellent environment for allowing people to contribute, and yet have been able to keep their projects free of politics and 'flame wars. If you want to give open source development a try, this is the place to do it!" |

| "Expresso Framework is a good architecture to build on and is very well written. Moreover, the security, database integration, automatic form generation, and use of MVC controller are great. The only negative aspects I have found is the learning curve at the beginning, lack of in-depth easy-to-go documentation, and some simpler working examples. I have written a Expresso Framework Review document, which you may find useful too." | ||

| "First I would like to say that I'm no fan of "success stories" - most of the times I just don't believe them. However, in the case of Expresso I have no second thoughts on adding more to the praise. I work for a company called Jayway, located in Sweden. We specialize in Java development, both as consultants and as product developers. We chose the Expresso framework as a strategic tool for our own product development. It offers a very good architecture with a rich feature set well suited for real life web programming. And perhaps most importantly - it's open source with an active community! Lately we've found that Expresso, and of course Java, enables us to take on assignments within timeframes that would be otherwise impossible. At last, thanks for sharing a great framework!" | ||

| We have just completed (Feb '04) the
building of a new commecial property portal for the City of London using
JCorporate's Expresso as the main development tool. The site www.touchproperty.com
also includes a sophisticated content management system which was also
built using Expresso. We were able to easily include things like image
uploading over HTTP and dynamic maps in Macromedia Flash. It was also
easy to integrate and connect Flash to the controller architecture of
Expresso. The whole system can also connect to a physical scale model of the City of London to control the lighting of the buildings and show information about them. This is on show in the Corporation of London's City Marketing Suite at the Guildhall, London. This was all possible due to the flexibility of this product and its open source approach. New Expresso features like the struts tag support, media and the joined database objects have allowed us to develop this site over a few months whilst still keeping a structured and compact code base. We will continue using Expresso for our interactive systems development work as using the Expresso framework does allow us to easily realise and manage such projects, we have yet to find anything quite as versatile or as useful as this product. |
